Cruising With Hollis

DESCRIPTION:
See the sights of the South on our 6 day trip to the Biltmore House and Gardens, Charleston, SC, and Savannah, SC. 

On Day 1, we stop for lunch in Corbin, KY at the first KFC store, before arriving in Ashville.  The next morning we visit the elaborate Biltmore Estate and tour the Biltmore House and Gardens.  The Biltmore Mansion is still the largest privately owned house in the United States at 178,926 square feet.

On to Charleston, SC, one of the most critically important cities in the US Civil War.  A step-on guide joins us as we drive through the historical streets, which is followed by a cruise of Charleston Harbor.  We end the evening with dinner at the Charleston Crab House.

The next day we enjoy a carriage ride through beautiful Beaufort, SC on Port Royal Island, which showcases some of the best preserved antebellum architecture in the south.  In the evening we enjoy a dinner cruise on the Savannah River, in Savannah, GA.

The next morning, a step-on guide joins us for a tour through historic Savannah and we spend time at the Savannah City Market before heading toward Macon for dinner and a good night's rest.
